Pamela Brown, CPDT-KA, owner of Down 4 Paws Dog Training, understands the challenges that come with managing a busy life and dealing with misbehaving dogs. Her journey began in 2010 when she became a stay-at-home mom, leaving behind her career as a Researcher. As her child started school, she adopted a puppy and was overwhelmed by the difficulties of balancing household tasks and dealing with a hyperactive child and an unruly dog. Desperate for a solution, Pamela turned to Google for guidance on dog training.

During her search, Pamela encountered numerous training methods, leaving her feeling lost and uncertain about where to begin. Motivated by her passion for dogs and a deep desire to learn, Pamela made the life-changing decision to pursue a career in dog training. In 2019, she graduated from Catch Canine Academy and became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, equipped with the knowledge and skills to understand dog behaviors and provide effective positive reinforcement training.

In 2020, Down 4 Paws was born out of Pamela’s personal experiences and dedication to helping others facing similar challenges. She firmly believes in personalized approaches, tailoring training methods to each individual’s specific needs and lifestyle. Specializing in puppy training, obedience training, and behavior modification, Pamela has successfully helped numerous clients overcome challenges and achieve harmonious relationships with their dogs.
